Behind on Bloggin'

This week I have been super busy preparing for our trip. We have been cracking our "Piggy Bank".

I got these from Storehouse before it closed...ahhh...remember that great store?

When it is full you bust it open and there is a quote in there.

I took all of our money to the CoinStar at Publix and..... $120.01
Yay! Some nice spending money!

I also took Reese today to get our nails done! It was her first time and she was so good.

We leave at 6:30 AM to head to The Hamptons! Have a great Weekend!

RECIPE OF THE WEEK:

Last night was our last night with our temporary roommate, Wade....Wesley's brother. We will miss him around the house, and I know Wesley will miss his golfing buddy. For our last meal together I cooked a Pork Tenderloin, Sweet Potatoes, and Green Beans. This Pork recipe is one of our favorite go-to meals and SO EASY!

EASY PORK TENDERLOIN
1 Tenderloin
1/4 cup Steak Seasoning (any kind will do, ex. McCormicks)
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
2 Tablespoons Flour
Mix together to make a rub and coat tenderloin. Bake at 375 for about 50-60min.

SAUTEED GREEN BEANS
Fresh Green Beans
Olive Oil/ Butter
Fresh Dill

On the stovetop saute green beans until desired tenderness and about 5 min before your done add in some fresh dill.

Let me know if you get to try these out! I got both of these from Erin Butler Norrell, she is such a great cook!

What a Weekend!!!

This weekend one of my best friends Meredith got married here in Atlanta. We started off the celebration with the Bridesmaids Luncheon Friday at the Swan Coach House.

Our Bridesmaids gifts were pieces of pottery hand picked by Meredith for each of us.

After that we enjoyed a little down time at the Nail Salon

Meredith got the Special Treatment

The Rehearsal Dinner was held at North Druid Hills Country Club. The Happy Couple...

The Happy Friends...

The wedding was at Smoke Rise Baptist Church. Meredith looked amazing!

The ceremony was so beautiful, the flowers were mainly hydrangeas and our bridesmaids bouquets were a mix of purple and blue flowers.

We were so excited to see The Grapevine again, they are always fun to dance to. We danced all night.

One of my favorite parts of the night was the bouquet toss... A SHOWDOWN: LAUREN vs RENEE

RENEE WON!!! (and Joe caught the garter...hmmmm)
We were so excited to see our favorite photographers again

Goodbye to the newly MR & MRS ROBERTS!!!

GREAT GIFT

We got this gift for our wedding and it has been one of our favorite things. It is a Beach Cooler with an IPOD player from Pottery Barn. The inside is lined for drinks and the outside pocket has speakers for your tunes and the monogram is the icing on the cake! I would highly recommend this as the gift to give the next couple getting hitched.
